Contiki, the social travel and carbon-neutral tour operator for travelers aged 18-35, announced its first-ever trip to the Philippines this week, offering a 9-day or 13-day island hopping adventure, now available to book for travel in 2024 and 2025.
The Philippines Island Hopping 9-day trip visits Puerto Princesa, Port Bartone and El Nido. It offers experiences like a boat ride through the UNESCO-designated Subterranean River National Park, a Jeepney ride to Nacpan Beach and a special MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience at Isla Experience in Daracoton Island. Travelers can also visit a local’s house to enjoy a traditional Filipino meal.
The 13-day version of the trip includes an added boat excursion taking travelers to Palawan Calamian’s Group of Islands, Coron Islands, Cullion and Linapacan. It also offers the chance to camp by the sea in Coron, snorkel in Coral Garden and visit the Turtle Islands.
“The Philippines is a major in-demand destination for travelers worldwide, particularly those from the Gen-Z demographic,” said Adam Armstrong, CEO of Contiki. “We’re thrilled to now be satisfying that demand, on a trip that makes visiting the Philippines so very easy – and fun too!”
“We know that the Philippines can be challenging for solo travelers to navigate, which is why we wanted to launch a trip that includes internal flights, boat transfers, and all other transport – along with all accommodation and delicious Filipino meals too,” continued Armstrong.
Contiki has been expanding into new destinations across Asia in recent years. Last summer, it launched its first-ever trip to South Korea, the 9-day South Korea Soul itinerary.
